The project consisted of demo, site rough grade, aggregate import for building pad foundation and new road, on-site flatwork and paving of new roadway. This project consisted of both a parking garage and sports field complex that required multiple phases and large scale coordination between KDW, the other trades involved in the ground improvements and the McCarthy management team to maintain quality of work as well as the site schedule. Along with the on-site work, there were two off-site street improvement packages that included the installation of a new bus stop for SJSU and full street reconstruction. This project was the first contract between KDW and McCarthy.
